Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American advisor to the political process, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015); and the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 as an influential political contributor to CNN. She was involved in the re-election campaigns for Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki became John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. The 11th of February 13th, 2013, Psaki became the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. There was speculation that she was to replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21] However, Josh Earnest was announced to replace Carney on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014. In 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and remained until the close of the Obama administration.
