Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former politician, and a television host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor for The Huffington Post, and the former co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show to release their own independent project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-hosting alongside Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been featured on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time together with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her continued interest in politics and her experiences as a new mother in the 2008 primaries. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan when she was working in Jordan. She was able to see the impact that it had on the citizens of her country and developed an appreciation for the global reach of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District in the election of 2010. But she lost to Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She created the People's House Project in May 2017 to support Democratic causes.
